The Insurance Business Awards for 2018 are once again upon us, with an even bigger lineup representing the insurance professions’ best and brightest.
This black-tie ceremony brings together 500 top professionals in the insurance community, recognizing high-performance insurance teams, senior-level insurance professionals, young guns and the rising stars.
Chris Gory, the President of Insurance Portfolio Financial Services, is one of the finalists again in the running for the Empire Life Award for Life & Health Advisor of the Year Award.
This is an incredible event comprised of diverse thought leaders and experts from within the Insurance industry, recognizing the achievements of outstanding brokerages, insurance teams and companies and insurance professionals across 21 categories.
According to Insurance Business Canada events director Chris Davis, the finalist selection process was more tightly contested than ever this year, almost doubling the number of entries in 2017.
“Just to be nominated and placed on a short list with some of the most diligent and diverse in the industry is such an incredible honour to me,” says Chris Gory. “To be in the conversation with what the specific criteria of this award entails is a huge recognition.”
This award of excellence recognizes the standout life and health insurance advisor of the year.

The 3rd annual Insurance Business Canada Awards ceremony is set to take place on November 29, 2018, Thursday in The Liberty Grand Toronto.
